Thanks to Life Of A Literary Nerd for this post! I thought it was super fun and you guys might enjoy some books I’ve read in the past that I might not ever review on here or that I have reviewed.
Find A Book for Each of Your Initials
M: Me Before You by Jo Jo Moyes I don’t normally like romantic novels but I loved this one because of the complicated characters and how they fit together.
M: The Martian by Andy Weir I was a little hesitant that the science would be too much but it wasn’t! Everything about this book was perfect.
K: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This is one of my all time favorite books ever. Everyone should read this. It will always have a special place for it in my heart.
Count your Age Along Your Bookshelf, What Book is It?
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. I’ve owned this one for a few years and still haven’t read it. Maybe this is a sign that I need to add it to my read sooner rather than later list.
Pick a Book Set in Your City/Country
An Echo in Bone — one of the many Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon. Not only does it take place in the United State, but it also has chapters that take place in my hometown!
Pick a Book That Represents A Place You Would Love to Travel
I’m choosing two for this one. Anyway, the first is Poldark by Winston Graham. it’s set in Cornwall, England and because of it, we are planning to visit it NEXT year! I am SO excited. I fell in love with the story and the landscape. The second is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I never had a desire to go to Scotland but Outlander and the time period changed my mind. It’s next on my list after England.
Pick a Book That’s Your Favorite Color
I would have to go with The Bear and The Nightingale by Katherine Arden or The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah because I love blue and turquoise colors. These two books are so different from each other but I loved them both. The Nightingale is right up there with The Kite Runner as one of my all time favorites, while The Bear and The Nightingale was just pure magic.
Which Book Do You Have The Fondest Memories Of?
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling. My favorite book of the Harry Potter series. I remember being able to visualize everything during the maze and how life like it all seemed. I also loved how the relationship with Harry and Sirius evolved.
Which Book Did You Have The Most Difficulty Reading?
Which Book On Your TBR Will You Give The Biggest Accomplishment When You Finish It?
The Imitation Game, it’s a whopping 664 pages and dry, I’ve tried it once already.
This was so fun! Have you guys read any of these books? Have you completed a little game like this before? Feel free to comment below, I’d love to hear from you!
