May has come and gone, and spring has finally bloomed here in Upstate New York. Here’s a round up of the month.
This month was a lot of visiting friends and family.
- Finally got to the golf course (twice)
- First SPAC concert of the season!
- Tulips in Albany 😊
- The wonderful and magical Yaddo Gardens
Books read in May:
- A Court of Thorns and Roses
- In Farleigh Field
- Strange the Dreamer
- The Sign of Four
- Life After Life
My favorites were obviously Outlander and Virgins, if they weren’t I wouldn’t have been re-reading them. The rest were on my I like list, other than a Sign of Four (did not like) and Life After Life (meh). You will notice you can’t go and see my review of a Sign of Four and that’s because I just….couldn’t do it. In Farleigh Field I thought would be great on the beach but nothing more. Strange the Dreamer wasn’t what I imagined it to be so I was a little disappointed.
What did you guys read and do this month?
PS- The month of June is really busy with a mini girls trip, friends coming to visit, traveling and weddings so please be patient if you see less book reviews and more adventures!
