October 2017 Roundup

Every month I think, how on earth has the month come and gone? This past month has been no different, work has been crazy, our social life has been crazy which made my book life not so crazy. Anyway, here we go!

The Books

I didn’t read as much as I would have liked this month partly because I started a Testament of Youth (which I’m still reading). Here’s the books I finished in October:

This might be my worse month of the whole year on the book front. Of these, I would recommend After You and City of Dark Magic. I would not recommend The Onyx Vial, there wasn’t enough in it for me.

The adventures

We did a whole lot better on the adventure front. We went to Chicago (again) which even took us to Indiana, and then we had some R&R in the finger lakes, just the two of us which was great. Wine, beer and hikes always help after a crazy summer of weddings.

The book boxes

I received two boxes this month and not going to lie, I was disappointed in both — hoping for some cooler stuff in November.

What to Expect in November:

Expect more tag type posts, they are so fun! I wish I had thought to incorporate them into my blog a long time ago. Also expect less posts this month and maybe even in December. This is one of the busiest times of the year at work which means the blog might be put on the back burner for a bit.
