10 Books on My Winter TBR

As always, clicking on the picture will link you back to it’s source Goodreads with more information

I’m starting to get my TBR ready for this winter. My boyfriend will be gone most weekends so the adventures will be slow until the weather gets better. Which means more reading and more book reviews. This week’s Top Ten is all about helping me get my TBR ready. Maybe I’ll do a post in the spring about whether or not I read them all.

Here’s the list, comment below if you’ve read any of them and have any suggestions on what to read first!

From Owlcrate:

Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1)      The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue (Guide, #1)

Since I got these both in a bookbox, I’ve put them on hold to read other books that I’ve really been interested in. To be honest, I’ve heard mixed reviews on the Gentleman’s Guide to Virtue so if you’ve read it please let me know what you thought of it!

The Sequels

The Girl in the Tower (The Winternight Trilogy #2)

Other than The Girl in The Tower (Sequel to The Bear and the Nightingale), I’m excited to read Angel of Shadow the second in Wormwood.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-GlassThe Classics

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass A fairy tale classic. One I can’t wait to read (or maybe re-read I can’t remember).

The other classic that has been on my list for the whole summer (thanks to my book facebook group) is The Princess Bride. Everyone seems to love it so I cannot wait to read it. Though, I’m a little afraid that it’s been hyped up too much.

The Last on the list are:

I tried to make a list of books where I have all of them, which is mostly true with this list — I just need the last three which I think is pretty good for myself. I’m going to try this new thing called do not buy a ton of books all at once until my TBR pile goes down. We will see how that works. I know once I read one I’ll want to pick up the next. I’m trying to space these out so I can read the new one the minute it comes out.

Nice list! I’ve been meaning to read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland for awhile too and I’m considering doing it over the holidays. I have a really pretty copy, but it, sadly, hasn’t made the move to where I live now, but I’m definitely bringing it back with me after the holidays! 🎄
