Caraval #2

Goodreads Synopsis:

Review: Just like Caraval, Legendary leaves you with a cliffhanger for the next book. I did enjoy this story, but I didn’t love it. Here’s the pros and cons.

The Cons:

I didn’t find it as magical as the first one. Maybe it was because it was technically the same setting so I knew what to expect? I’m not sure. It also moved so fast that when I was dome, I couldn’t believe the story was so short.

The Pros:

In a way, moving fast was good I guess. It was one story in a series of stories, luckily, if it was a standalone I don’t know if I would have enjoyed it. The characters are still very entertaining, I enjoyed the mystery of who Legend is, what that means moving forward, the mystery of the game as well and the romance that was more prevalent in this book. If you’re looking for a fast read, this is definitely it.

But still, I felt like something was missing.

The fact that my blog post is pretty short, should tell you that I really didn’t love this, but like I wrote earlier — it left me needing more which means it left me waiting, impatiently for the third (and I think last) story for Tella

Overall Rating: 3/5 stars
