September (2018) Round Up

September starts the beginning of my favorite 3 months within the year! I’m definitely that person that can’t wait for summer to end so I can start wearing my sweaters, flannel, boots and scarves again. While sipping Apple Cider, eating cider donuts and enjoying the crisp air and changing leaves.

What’s new in life:

Well, I finally, truly realize what it’s like to have a house and I’m not going to lie, my wallet isn’t too happy with me at the moment. I’m hoping it will slow down soon. At the same time, my blogging might decrease a bit again, don’t expect to see 3 posts a week — I’ve been so busy with house and other things plus I work roughly 12 hour days that it’s been making it difficult for me to find the time to blog consistently.

I’ve started more DIY projects, I already told you about painting a room and re-upholstering chairs, next up will be making your own decor. I have to admit, I’m not too crafty so I’m really happy this has been working out.

As you all know, I live in Upstate New York, specifically in Saratoga. My friend http://www.sweetloveandginger.com/ have started a meetup for local bloggers! We’ve only had 1 meetup so far but I’m excited for what this might bring! Interested in joining? Click here to our facebook page!

Current obsessions:

The month of September was all about Hawaii Five -O, Football starting back up and the end of golf, really those were my obsessions. Nothing to report on music or anything like that.

The Adventures

We had two really gorgeous weddings in the month of September — congrats to the two lucky couples, we’re really happy for you! Can we take a moment to appreciate the sunset from one of them?

Apple picking obviously happened in the month of September, while we bought a lot of apples, I unfortunately didn’t get to make any of my favorite fall desserts, but there’s still time!

We are so grateful for the people who traveled (some multiple hours) to celebrate our house with us — with that, we also got to spend a whole weekend with friends from Vermont and show them around Saratoga in the fall. It was just a perfect way to end the month of September.
