Author: Jenny Han

Pages: 337

Goodreads Synopsis: Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever. When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?

Review: I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I really loved the movie more than I loved this book. Don’t get me wrong, this book was adorable and a quick read if you’re looking for something to get you out of a book slump (which is exactly what I was doing). But I found myself more attached to the characters in the movie (on Netflix btw) than within the story. I wanted more, I wanted more interactions, I wanted to truly feel like there was chemistry. While I felt it at some instances with Lara Jean and Peter it wasn’t enough to make me fall in love with this story.

Of course, it could be because I just loved the movie SO MUCH. If you haven’t watched it you should totally get on Netflix right now and watch the cutest romantic comedy in awhile.
