2018 in Review: Goodreads Challenge

2018 has come and gone. Unfortunately I didn’t read as many books as last year, but I did meet my Goodreads Goal for the year, so I guess that’s something. I know part of the reason I didn’t read as much was due to the fact that we traveled so much and bought the house. With this, I think my goals moving forward will always be 52 books a year. My life is crazier now, in a good way and I want to feel like I accomplished my reading goals without “killing my love of reading.”

Summary from Goodreads:

Total Number of Books: 55

Total Pages Read: 22,542

Average Length: 409

Shortest Book Read: N/A

The Longest Book Read: Drums of Autumn

Most Popular Book Read: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie

Must Read Books  (17)

  • One Very Odd Teacher
  • The Tuscan Child

I read a lot more in 2018 but I didn’t feel like they were worth adding to the list — or I wouldn’t recommend them. Hopefully you think of picking at least one of these stories to try to read, I promise they will be worth it.
